Q1. When are our opening hours for scanning?Daily, including Saturday. Q2. How long does the scan take? This depends on the Option package chosen , but is flexible. All clients may change their chosen Option during the scan. In general , we allow one hour between appointments in order that clients do not feel pressurised. Actual scanning time rarely exceeds 30 minutes. Q3. When is the optimum time for 3D pregnancy scanning? This is also flexible, and depends largely upon the “co-operation” of the baby. In general, the optimum time will be between 22 and 32 weeks, but other times may suit certain clients. Q4. Can clients self-refer for 3D scans?Yes…..but preferably after a second hospital scan if this is offered. Q5. Are all images of equal quality? The quality of all 2D , 3D and 4D images are dependent on the position of the baby, the distance between the probe and the baby, and the amount of amniotic fluid around the baby. Q6. Can the sex of the baby be determined? This will be attempted if requested by clients. |
